Why the Tiger?

We are often asked why the tiger on our website. The reason is because we are corporate supporters and members of the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) business club. In particular we support their work in helping to preserve these beautiful animals from extinction.

In the past 100 years wild tiger numbers have fallen by about 95% and there are now thought to be less than 3,200 in the wild. Hunting and destruction of their natural habitat has resulted in tigers joining the list of seriously endangered species.

WWF and their partners are working to restore fragmented areas of habitat so that tigers can move freely between them. They are helping to develop and protect reserves and they support anti poaching patrols, among other projects.

WWF are working with partners throughout the world to try and save the tiger and we are doing our small part to support them. As members of the WWF-UK business club we make an annual donation to their work and do what we can to promote their cause. WWF are also our chosen charity and we will make a donation to them for each new enquiry or instruction we receive.
