Webster OBrien support the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) and in particular their campaign to save the Tiger which is in serious danger of extinction.
We are pleased to report that there is some good news for a change as the WWF report that in their 2010 campaign more than 130,000 people in the UK signed their Tiger petition urging world leaders to agree strong action to protect the worlds big cats. The petition was presented to leaders at the Global Tiger Forum held in St Petersburg.
Following the Forum there is now a firm agreement to protect Tigers and to try and double their numbers in the wild by 2022, including a pledge to add US $127 Million to the recovery plan including anti poaching legislation and protecting the natural habitat.
