Career Summary

Qualified as a solicitor in 1970 after intermediate and finals courses at the College of Law, London and Guildford following 5 years articled clerkship in Manchester.

Since qualification he has been a partner in two firms, specialising in domestic and commercial property law and conveyancing.

Peter then had 5 years as a sole practitioner, again, specialising in property law. In 1992 Peter refocused his practice to become a locum solicitor offering his vast experience to a range of firms throughout Manchester and the North West. This has included some quite long term contracts of 6 months and one of 2½ years.

One long term association as a locum was with Vickers Jones Wood & Co where he periodically stood in for Bob and Judy Vickers. This led to his appointment as a part time consultant with the practice. In October 2005 Webster O'Brien LLP acquired Vickers Jones Wood and continued to utilise Peter's services. In March 2006 Peter joined as a full time consultant with the firm.
