About the Firm
Webster O'Brien was established in April 2004 by John Webster, Wayne Thompson and Peta O'Brien.

The practice was originally intended to be a specialist litigation firm dealing with insurance related matters, property damage claims, personal injury and general commercial disputes.

However as the practice gained momentum instructions were received in a wide range of areas, particularly from clients looking for advice in respect of commercial and property transactions.
The firm has therefore developed to meet client needs and new services are being offered all the time.

In October 2005, as part of our planned expansion, we acquired the, predominantly, property-based practice of Vickers Jones Wood which had been established by its principal, Bob Vickers, back in 1987. This has allowed us to continue with diversification of the firm.
